• Hey Guys,
  
  Send me a note if you have any news / updates or just an "FYI" that you would like for me to add to the website.  Also, for those of you who haven't, it would be great if you would sign up on our yahoo groups called SDAChattanooga.  You can access it by signing into yahoo.com and then click on "groups".  Once you access the group page then type in "sdachattanooga" go to the page that allows you to join the group.  If you do not already have a yahoo ID then click on "sign up".  Create your user ID by following the directions then click "join group". I know all of this sound complicated but it really isn't.  I would be more than happy to help anyone sign up.  There are several benefits.  You get any update sent automatically to your email.  You have access to the calendar.  On the calendar you can put any special occasions (spouse's b-days, cookouts, special individual training dates, etc.) and keep everyone else up to date.  Also, you can put in reminders (such as club dues expiring, club meeting etc.) so anyone signed up can get their own reminders.  Try it out and let me know what you think.......

• Anyone with suggestions for SDA Activities or fund raisers please let us know!  We are always open to fresh ideas!  So far, we have had a few really good suggestions:

  •  Training Seminars

  •  Show and Goes - preliminary trials in preparation for the real thing

  •  Videos of your dog's performance at the "show and goes" so you can know what you need to work on.

   

• For those members who have not done so -- Please click on the link below to set up your yahoo account.  By signing up, you will be able to keep up with more of the SDA news.  Any time anyone wants to contact all of the SDA Chattanooga members, they can simply post an email and it will automatically be forwarded to everyone that has signed up.  If you have any problems, contact me (Sherle Thompson), at (423) 991-0979 or email me and I will help you sign up.  For now, Dennis will continue also sending out text messages for SDA updates so make sure he has your phone number if you wish to receive them.

  •   Check out the forum that Tyler set up for SDA members at www.sdatalk.com this is real cool. We need to make use of this it's a great way for all us to stay in touch with each other and attract others.
