Here are some of the pictures from the Hamilton County Fair, September
28th, 2008!

We started our routine with some basic healing. We had 8 dogs
performing the routine and healing in a circle. They all did very
well!
We
next did a sit out of motion. Not a single dog moved as their
handlers continued to walk ALL the WAY AROUND the circle and back to the
basic heal position! OUTSTANDING!
We
continued to demonstrate basic obedience by doing a down out of motion,
left and right about turns, sits, platz, and even recalls. Tom and
Brian (with Turbo and Cooper respectively) did cross recalls by calling
the dogs from opposite ends of the field and having them run past each
other going opposite directions at full speed while the rest of us made
the "recall-alley". Great demo guys! Looked awesome!
After our basic obedience, we had Tom Cawood enter the circle of dogs
while they are still healing. He then demonstrated a friendly
greeting with Judge. And with the "oo's and awe's" of the crowd we
performed an "Alert on Command"
Yeh
though I walk through the valley ...
Do
you see the fear on Tom's face? NO? Well that is because he
isn't looking at Zena! Have you ever seen that dog look THAT mean?
Let me show you a close up ....
YIKES!!
Even Dennis looks amazed!
But,
WHAT exactly is she doing here?! Remember to ask Dennis next time
you see him, Okay?
We
went on to do several "real-life" scenarios of why you might need a good
personal protection dog. If you look at the background, at the
people, you can see the rapt attention on all of their faces.
There are even a couple of local police officers watching closely too!
Here
we have Judge showing that he can be calm in the face of a threat.
Dennis is threatening me and finally marches off with the warning,
"Watch your back!"
I
was trying to watch but it looked like Judge had my back.....
We
also had a "real-life" purse snatching example. Mean-ol' Dennis
stole poor little-ol' Angie's purse. But not to fear....Cooper was
on him like a frog on a bug! Dennis didn't get very far with his
new purse!
After the "real-life" scenarios, we went on to show the crowd what a
"long bite" really was. Below are a few pictures of Uny and Chris.
Uny launched and took Chris down. Chris says he fell on purpose
(uh-huh) but what you don't see is that Uny missed the first bite and
she was mad!
  Uny
after the "bad-guy". Can we say "TAKE DOWN"?! Let me now
show you some of the people in the background....
 The
crowd thought that Tom and Brian may get into a fight based on their
expressions but Cooper knew it was all in a day's work.....
GET'em, Coop!
Notice
the crowd -- They are riveted on the field. But, no matter what is
going on on the field, Turbo has eyes for no one but Tom.
 She
may be low to the ground but she is a tenacious thing! "Let me
at'em!" she says.
Here
is Guinevere going after a long bite. What a bite! She bit
so deep Chris pulled his lips in to keep her from getting them too!
 All
in All -- Everyone had a pretty good time!
And they were pretty tired at the day's end!
