Directions to the SDA Training Field

 

 

*If come from 153 passing Northgate on the right, you would continue on 153, which will turn into Dayton Pike.  Once on Dayton Pike continue on for several miles.  Once you notice Hollow Johnson Rd. and Thrasher Pike on your right, begin looking for a deserted entrance with a metal yellow gate to your left (somewhere in the area the arrow is pointing above on the map).  This is the entrance you’d come in.  Come straight on down the dirt/gravel road less than ¼ mile or so, and the field will be on the left.  You should see a wooden storage building and trailer….and yes - plenty of beautiful trees surrounding the area. 

 

*If you come up 27 North, you’d take the Thrasher Pike exit, go left and up toward Dayton Pike, take a right on Dayton Pike, and immediately begin looking left for a deserted entrance with a metal yellow gate to your left (somewhere in the area the arrow is pointing above on the map).  This is the entrance you’d come in.  Come straight on down the dirt/gravel road less than ¼ mile or so, and the field will be on the left.  You should see a wooden storage building and trailer….and yes - plenty of beautiful trees surrounding the area.

*If you come down 27 South from the opposite direction, you’d take the Harrison Ln exit off of 27 and take a right off this exit toward Dayton Pike, turn left on Dayton Pike, continue down for several miles and look for a Mount Lake Road on the right side and/or Industrial Park Drive on the left once you’ve gone a few miles. Once you see these streets, you are close to being ready to make that right turn towards the SDA field.  Begin looking for a deserted entrance with a metal yellow gate to your right (somewhere in the area the arrow is pointing above on the 1^st map on 1^st page).  This is the entrance you’d come in.  Come straight on down the dirt/gravel road less than ¼ mile or so, and the field will be on the left.  You should see a wooden storage building and trailer….and yes - plenty of beautiful trees surrounding the area.
